Head of Change Management - £60-80k

Position Overview

The Head of Change Management will play a crucial role in ensuring the company successfully navigates through periods of transformation and change. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and leading change management strategies that minimise employee resistance and maximise employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulating, prioritising and managing strategic projects across the UK.
  • Creating change management plans for projects or change initiatives acknowledging all aspects of change - analysis, plan, implementation, communication and other associated change considerations.
  • Developing change management processes and tools to support the integration and engagement with change management principles.
  • Preparing impact analyses and evaluation of the actual impact of changes
  • Analysing and preparing risk mitigation tactic and processes
  • Close collaboration with the Projects Managers to integrate change management activities into the existing project plans
  • Managing the input and output of the change management reporting systems for projects
  • Capturing data and defining and measuring success metrics
  • Consulting and advising project teams on change management
  • Identifying opportunities and providing expertise to build resilience to change across the organisation

Your Experience

  • 5+ years experience as a Change Manager, managing end to end change, ideally in the debt management industry
  • Proven in depth change management experience using a variety of change management methodologies
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in change management and communications
  • Experience implementing changes to business processes, technologies and systems
  • Hands-on experience identifying problems at an early stage and effectively solving problems
  • Proven experience in working in project teams and implementing a change program of work
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in digital transformation projects.

Qualifications:

To degree level in any subject

Professional Project management qualifications ideally Prince 2 or equivalent

Location:

On site in Halifax whenever required and on a regular basis. Although we recognise to find the right candidate, we may need to be flexible on location, frequent presence will be essential, especially in the early days to build relationships and learn the business.
