Reports To: Management Team

Department: Shop Floor

Location: Halifax

Job Summary:

The Stock controller is responsible for the daily allocation of stock for production activities in a bespoke coating solutions environment. The role involves locating new stock, moving stock around to work areas to ensure each area has the correct powders and updating the stock system. Other duties will include entering orders onto the system and helping out on the shop floor as required.

Shop Floor stock:

  • Daily stock allocation for production schedules to meet output targets.

  • Returning stock and data input of usage onto the system.

  • Consolidation of stock as required.

  • Report any issues with stock to management.

  • Keep stock area clean, tidy and organised.

  • Location of new stock into the stock area and onto the system

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Resource Management:

  • Manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and equipment.

  • Coordinate with the supply chain for timely replenishment of materials.

Skills:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Good time management skills.

  • Ability to work solo or as part of a team.
