Talent-UK are recruiting a Sewing Supervisor on behalf of their client, a successful manufacturer of sportwear based in the Halifax area, the role is offered on a permanent basis working days Monday to Friday.
Duties of the Sewing Supervisor:
- Supervising a small team of staff
- Managing daily workloads and performance
- Ability to pick up workload with own sewing skills when required
- Operation of Overlocking and Flatbed Machines
- Training and support for the sewing team
- Reporting directly to senior management
Skills and experience of the Sewing Supervisor:
- Must have worked with Overlocking and Flatbed machines
- Supervisory experience in a similar role
- Must come from a sewing background
- Ability to problem solve and work to tight deadlines
- Good organisational skills
Benefits for the Sewing Supervisor:
- Paying 15.00 per hour
- Working 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-12.30pm Friday
- Overtime available
- Holiday Entitlement: 28 Days including public holidays
- Permanent opportunity
