Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £48,000 + double and triple paid overtime! OTE £55k

Location: West Yorkshire (commutable from Bradford, Halifax, Leeds, Wakefield and Huddersfield)

Shifts: Panama Days and Nights

About the company

ATA are working with one of the UKs leading FMCG Manufacturer in their fully automated manufacturing facility in the Bradford/Halifax area. We are supporting them on a recruitment drive to add a highly skilled mechanical maintenance engineer to their team due to new project wins, internal promotion, and the requirement to increase their workforce. They have recently completed a £7m Capex project of upgrading 5 lines to upgrade their facility from semi to fully automated.

About You

To be considered for the mechanical maintenance engineer role, you must have the following:

-        Mechanical bias with basic electrical experience such as basic testing, fault find

-        The drive to continually improve the site.

-        Completed an NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent in mechanical engineering.

-        Happy to work across a Panama days and night rota.

About the role

As a mechanical maintenance engineer you will be responsible for maintaining a variety of Siemens and Allen Bradley controlled automated production machinery.

Other responsibilities will include:

-        Planned preventive maintenance

-        Reacting to breakdowns

-        Both mechanical and electrical fault finding

-        Project, upgrade, and continuous improvement work.

-        Supporting the installation of new machinery
