Basic Starting Salary: £45 000 - £50 000 Per Year

Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire

Working Hours: Monday-Friday | Days Only (Early Finish Every Friday)

Start Date: ASAP

The Company

Part of an international group, a leading supplier of PVC Compounds, used in many areas of plastics processing. Industry sectors include construction, packaging, electrical & electronics, transport, leisure and healthcare.

To remain at the forefront of its markets and as part of its customer led operational strategy, the business is investing in its current building and expanding its production capabilities.

Purpose

As the Production Planning Manager, you will provide robust production & material planning to ensure delivery of the master production schedule. You will be responsible for the forecasting as well as ensuring the plans compliment the Sales & Operation processes.

The Role

• To be a leading member of the manufacturing management team and contribute to the overall strategy for the supply chain and operation of the business.
• Be a strong business partner to the purchasing team to ensure material availability, stock levels are balanced and to match production plans.
• Manage engineering changes effectively.
• Create and actively progress and manage production plans.
• Support the Implementation of planning tool software.
• Key stakeholder in SAP implementation.
• Works with manufacturing to provide the most efficient and robust plans.
• Facilitate effective communication, liaising with SLT and across the business to achieve company objectives
• To ensure that Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards are adhered to including the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company.
