Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Planning Manager to lead the planning and coordination of production and material schedules. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that production schedules meet business demands and that materials flow seamlessly from suppliers to customers. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that finished goods are delivered on time and in full (OTIF), while also developing and implementing efficient processes to improve inventory control and stock management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key member of the manufacturing management team, contributing to the overall supply chain strategy and business operations.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure material availability, balanced stock levels, and alignment with the production plan.
  • Manage and drive engineering changes in production planning.
  • Create and actively manage production schedules, ensuring the timely completion of customer orders.
  • Automate and streamline processes from customer orders to finished goods (FGs).
  • Support the implementation of planning tool software to optimize production planning processes.
  • Take a key role in the SAP implementation to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to create the most efficient production plans.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Technical teams to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Maintain effective communication with senior leadership and other stakeholders to align on company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Production Planning Management, with a strong background in general manufacturing.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of planning.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, with energy and drive to meet deadlines.
  • Commercially aware with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
