Design Engineer: Our client, a flow control engineering business, seek to appoint a Design Engineer to their engineering team. There may be very occasional travel once or twice a year but in the main this is an office based position to design and develop products from initial concept through to finished design. Of particular benefit is knowledge of flow control equipment: pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics and sealings. On offer is an excellent base salary and benefits package.Design Engineer - Role & Responsibilities - Create manufacturing detail drawings and other drawings as required for flow control equipment: pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, sealings - BOM and assembly instructions, and training and publicity material - Assist Sales with quoting on special requirements - Liaise with production engineering to improve shop floor efficiencyDesign Engineer - Candidate Profile - HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering as a minimum - Experienced with 2D and 3D CAD - AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, SolidEdge or equivalent - Aware of modern manufacturing techniques and materials - Knowledge of flow control equipment: pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, sealings - Good Communication Skills with customers and suppliersDesign, Engineer, Mechanical, CAD, Flow Control
