Are you a machine whisperer with a knack for all things mechanical? Our thriving machine tool service business is on the hunt for an experienced Machine Tool Service Engineer! If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the world of CNC and manual machine tools, keep reading!
What You'll Do:
- Maintenance Maestro: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance like a pro.
- Fault Finder Extraordinaire: Diagnose and repair machines on-site faster than a speeding bullet.
- Installation Guru: Set up and commission machinery, making it purr like a kitten.
- Parts Pro: Order parts faster than you can say "breakdown"!
- Customer Whisperer: Answer queries and keep our clients smiling.
Core Hours:Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00Friday: 07:30 - 12:00
(Flexibility required-sometimes you'll need to be a night owl!)
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Field service or machine tool experience? Perfect!
- Mechanical Wizardry: NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
- Tech Savvy: Know your hydraulics from your pneumatics and be a CNC controls champ.
- Problem Solver: You thrive under pressure and love tackling challenges.
- Communication Skills: You can chat with customers and relay issues like a pro.
- Willingness to Travel: Get ready to hit the road (and occasionally stay overnight-hello, Premier Inn!).
