Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well known manufacturing company based in Halifax to recruit an electrical maintenance engineer to to join their team. The role is based on a weekly 3-shift rotation (mornings/afternoons/nights) from Monday to Friday.Salary: £45,000Benefits:

Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing engineering maintenance and installation tasks with minimal supervision, The role includes:.

  • Performing planned maintenance activities to transition from reactive breakdown maintenance to a more structured approach.
  • Contributing to the construction, installation, and commissioning of approved plant modifications and projects.
  • Overhauling equipment to meet manufacturer and site standards to maintain cost-effective operations.
  • Undergoing further training on plant equipment or engineering tools and assisting in training new personnel when required.
  • Utilizing Maintenance Management Systems to create requisitions and provide feedback on work details as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant electrical qualifications and experience to safely operate within a manufacturing environment.
  • Fundamental mechanical engineering knowledge and skills.
  • Apprentice trained in Electrical or Mechanical engineering is a prerequisite.
  • Educated to GCSE level (Grades A-C) or equivalent.
