As one of the UK's leading manufacturers and distributors the Group boasts a strong presence both domestically and internationally, employing over 600 people across their manufacturing sites.
In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring that all product data is accurate and organized across multiple platforms. If you have experience in digital marketing and a passion for data integrity, this could be the perfect fit for you!
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain the Product Information Management (PIM) system, ensuring all product data is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Aid in the configuration and maintenance of PIM/DAM (Digital Asset Management) systems.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure consistent data standards across systems.
- Collaborate closely with Commercial and Product teams to gather and update product specifications and assets.
- Support e-commerce, retailers, and digital partners by providing accurate product data and digital assets in appropriate formats.
- Manage product descriptions, technical specifications, imagery, and other key data points to optimize product representation across platforms.
- Coordinate product data during new product launches and discontinuations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data consistency and quality.
- Implement processes to enhance product findability and SEO performance.
- Serve as the internal point of contact for PIM-related system improvements, training, and troubleshooting.
- Previous experience in a data-focused marketing role.
- Experience using a PIM system (e.g., Akeneo or similar).
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Excel.
- Good knowledge of website data and content development to maximize visitor numbers.
