Committed to quality, safety, and sustainability, they provide bespoke infrastructure services across the UK. They are seeking an experienced EV Project Manager to join their team and oversee key electric vehicle infrastructure projects.
Job Summary
As an EV Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of EV charging hub projects. You will manage the day-to-day operations, lead a team of engineers and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This role will require strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of EV charging hub projects, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
- Budget Management: Track project costs, manage budgets, and implement cost-control measures to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a team, providing clear direction to site workers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure effective project execution.
- Site Management: Manage on-site operations, ensuring compliance with design specifications, logistics coordination, and smooth day-to-day activities.
- Quality Control: Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets industry and company standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and keeping them informed of project progress.
- Communication: Facilitate communication between all project participants, ensuring technical concepts and project updates are clearly understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within the EV charging, utilities or renewable energy projects.
- Strong understanding of EV infrastructure, construction processes, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong budgeting, scheduling, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is a plus.
- Previous experience in EV charging infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
