Role OverviewAs an Estimating Manager, you will take charge of the estimating function, providing detailed, competitive cost estimates across a variety of projects. Your role will involve liaising with internal teams and external partners to ensure that all estimates are accurate, timely, and aligned with project requirements. A strong background in the fit-out industry is essential, and knowledge of our key sectors (BTR, PRS, Co-Living, Hotels, and Student Accommodation) will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for fit-out and furnishing projects across multiple sectors.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and requirements to deliver accurate pricing.
  • Source and negotiate prices with subcontractors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
  • Manage the tender process, ensuring the submission of high-quality, competitive bids.
  • Collaborate with design, project management, and procurement teams to ensure cost estimates align with the overall project strategy.
  • Present estimates and cost breakdowns to clients and senior management, justifying your approach and recommendations.
  • Continuously improve the estimating process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across all projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator or Estimating Manager within the fit-out industry.
  • Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
