Senior Estimator
Essentials
- Degree qualified in Design, engineering or Quantity surveying.
- Have a minimum of 5 years in an estimating role within a comparable organisation.
- MUST have previous experience of working in FF&E, fitout/ furniture environment.
- Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, word, power point, and outlook
- Experience with AutoCAD/and or 3D software desirable
Purpose of role
To assist the Bid department in securing projects/orders for the continued growth of the business.
Key responsibilities
- Download and file Tender enquiries in line with company procedures.
- Preparation of quote template and proposed product information.
- Negotiate with supply partners such as discounts, payments, terms etc.
- Attend pre and post tender meetings with clients to discuss our quote.
- Provide support and advice to Graduate estimators.
- Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with AutoCAD/and or 3D software would be advantageous.
- Be part of the team producing winning bids and tenders for some of the most high-profile Student accommodation, Residential and Hotel projects in the country and the continued growth of the business.
