We're looking for a Product Manager - New Product Development to join a leading healthcare company in Halifax, delivering life-saving products to market.

What You'll Do as a Product Manager - New Product Development:
  • Lead product development from concept to market launch, ensuring new products or product changes meet time, cost, and quality specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams-internal and external-including suppliers, senior leadership, and cross-functional departments.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, and ensure effective problem-solving throughout the lifecycle of the product development.
  • Ensure project success by working through stage-gate processes and meeting all required standards.
  • Drive communication and provide regular status updates on project progress, ensuring alignment with all stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in new product development, change management, and project management (delivering projects within time, cost, spec, and resource constraints).
  • Background in a rigorous industry such as medical devices, biocidal products, or FMCG, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and work throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage a range of stakeholders and escalate issues appropriately.
  • A degree in a technical discipline (e.g., science or engineering) and ideally, a Project Management qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent experience.
