We are excited to offer opportunities to an enthusiastic and experienced Science Teacher to join a vibrant and successful team at a secondary school in halifax. This role involves delivering high-quality Science lessons to students from KS3 to KS4.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons to KS3-KS4 students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to foster academic growth.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to enhance the educational experience.
  • Attend and contribute to departmental meetings and professional development sessions to stay updated with educational trends and methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching Science to Secondary school students.
  • Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Science.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and inspiring students.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to the academic and personal success of students.
