NextGen Teachers are proudly recruiting for a dynamic and inclusive school who are dedicated to providing high-quality learning experiences to their students. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate part-time Health and Social Care Teacher to join our supportive and driven school.

The Role:

We are looking for a dedicated teacher to deliver Level 3 Health and Social Care courses to our students. As a teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic and personal development, preparing them for their future careers in healthcare and social services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for Level 3 Health and Social Care students.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential.
  • Maintain a positive, motivating classroom environment.
  • Create and implement effective teaching strategies, ensuring content is accessible and engaging for all learners.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to curriculum development and the sharing of best practices.
  • Support students in their career pathways, providing advice and guidance on progression options in the health and social care sector.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Health and Social Care at Level 3
  • A passion for teaching and a genuine commitment to supporting students in their learning journey
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability
