Hamilton Woods Associates are working with a charity that is looking for a Housing Support Worker to work with clients facing homelessness. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis with scope to become permanent.

The hours of working are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities of the Housing Support Worker includes:

  • Providing housing and tenancy related support to homeless clients with complex needs
  • Managing referrals and conducting needs and risk assessments
  • Conducting health and safety checks
  • Completing inductions
  • Ensuring clients adhere to their tenancy agreements
  • Supporting clients to move on into more permanent accommodation
  • Fostering joint working with other agencies and services to provide holistic support
  • Assisting with benefit applications

Essential criteria of the Housing Support Worker include:

  • Enhanced DBS within the last 12 months (or on the update service)
  • Experience within a similar supported living environment
  • UK Driving License and access to own vehicle
