We are looking for Assistant Youth Workers to join our enthusiastic & dedicated youth work team on a part-time basis. You would be part of delivering Youth Clubs and Street Based Youth Work for young people aged 8 - 19 years old across Halifax (or up to 24 with additional needs).

As an Assistant Youth Worker, you will provide support, information, and guidance to young people on issues that impact their lives. Engaging young people in a variety of activities and opportunities in Blackburn communities.   • Assist in the delivery of a range of youth activities and programs
  • Engage with young people in a positive, supportive, and engaging manner
  • Provide guidance, advice, and support to young people
  • Help develop and maintain positive relationships with young people and their families
  • Support the youth team in organising and supervising outings, trips, and events
  • Contribute to the evaluation and monitoring of youth programs to ensure effectiveness and impact
