Join our vibrant and inclusive school community as an SEN Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a significant impact in the lives of young learners with special educational needs (SEN), including autism spectrum disorders (ASD), learning difficulties, and emotional and behavioural challenges.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist with the development of social skills and emotional regulation strategies.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience working with SEN in a similar role or a transferable role.
  • A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
