Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support students with diverse needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and physical impairments.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support students in achieving their educational goals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support as needed.
  • Monitor and report on student progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with special educational needs in a similar or transferable role.
  • A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
