Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. In this role, you will manage production planning, replenishment, procurement, transportation, and warehousing activities while ensuring the efficient coordination of product maintenance processes. You will be responsible for developing and improving supply chain processes and systems to meet the business's operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient tracking and communication systems across the supply chain to enhance visibility and streamline operations.
  • Focus on reducing lead times, improving efficiency, and adding value to the business.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with global suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards such as ISO 9001.
  • Manage inventory control and demand planning, using proven methodologies to balance stock levels and demand.
  • Implement a robust demand management process to align with production needs.
  • Support the implementation of planning tool software to improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to ensure seamless logistics operations, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining profit margins.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to drive innovation within the supply chain function.
  • Facilitate clear communication with suppliers regarding pricing, updates, and other critical information.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams on new product development initiatives.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to maintain and enhance the company's competitive edge in the market.
  • Mentor and guide a team of four, including the Planning Manager, Purchasing Manager, and Warehouse Manager, while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards, including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
  • Oversee compliance with relevant standards related to FSC controlled wood, PEFC chain of custody, and RSB Advanced Products.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Highly skilled in data analysis and reporting to support informed decision-making.
  • Analytical mindset and strong business acumen, with the ability to implement practical solutions.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
  • Clear and persuasive communication style with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a collaborative approach.
  • Experience with SAP is essential.
