Hague Personnel are recruiting Mig Welders for our prestigious manufacturing client based in Holmfield, Halifax.

Applicants must have previous Mig Welding experience to be considered.
General duties to include but not limited to:
- MIG welding of mild steel
- JIG work
- Reading from drawings
- Use of tools
- Meeting production targets
- May involve robot welding (training will be provided)
- Checking the quality of the weld to ensure products meet the quality standards of the company
Working hours and pay rates:
FIXED EARLY SHIFT Monday to Thursday 6am - 2pm, Friday 6am - 1.10pm (37.5 hours per week)
- Basic Pay Rate: £14.26 per hour (including 10% shift allowance)
- Saturday Overtime Pay Rate: £19.44 per hour
- Sunday Overtime Pay Rate: £25.92 per hour
FIXED LATE SHIFT Monday to Thursday 2pm - 10pm, Friday 1.10pm - 8.20pm (37.5 hours per week)
- Basic Pay Rate: £15.23 per hour (including 17.5% shift allowance)
- Saturday Overtime Pay Rate: £19.44 per hour
- Sunday Overtime Pay Rate: £25.92 per hour
Overtime is paid after 37.5 hours per week, weekend overtime is paid excluding shift allowance.
Duration: Temporary ongoing with a view to lead to a permanent contract
Start date: ASAP
Skills and experience required:
- Previously Mig Welding experience
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Ability to work to own initiative
The successful candidates must pass a weld test before being offered a position.
