MCH recruitment is recruiting for a children service ,we are looking for a Registered Children's Home Manager.  To run a state-of-the-art bedded residential children's homes we will consider candidates with a background in working in the residential children's setting for the past 5 years or more.

Registered Children Home Manager Duties:

  • To be the Ofsted Registered Children Home Manager for the children's home and act on behalf of the organisation to ensure that the home meets relevant requirements set out in legislation.
  • To provide effective leadership and management and to always remain professional.
  • Ensure the implementation of all designated areas of the child(rens) care plan by OFSTED standards, regulations, and the child’s LAC plans.
  • To ensure a high standard of consistent care and service by legislation, government guidance, regulations, and standards, and the policies and procedures of the registered provider are implemented.
  • Ensure a coordinated approach to services for children and young people.

Registered Children Home Manager Requirements:

  • Must have 3 year experience of working in a supervisory role in children's care.
  • Driving license preferred
  • Must have an NVQ Level 3 or Diploma Level 3 in childcare.
  • NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Children’s Services or be willing to obtain, our client will fully fund it.
