Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing 3 projects in the Midlands area. You will work closely with the commercial team to ensure the successful delivery of these projects. The role offers flexibility and hybrid working, including 2 days working from home.
Job Duties:- Manage and oversee the financial aspects of construction projects
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets
- Conduct risk analysis evaluations
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Monitor progress and ensure compliance with regulations
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
- Driving Licence
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
- Knowledge of construction processes and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB, etc.)
- Experience in the housing development sector
- Project management certification
- Full-time position
- Travel to project sites in the Midlands area
