The key purpose of this role is oversee the shift and production, working closely with the production manager and senior management. Responsible for creating a positive working environment and leading from the front.
Key duties include:
Managing inventory, production processes and targets, quality, cost and morale on shift.
Team working is key - working closely with all colleagues, stakeholders and management.
Managing staff on shift, optimising resources and working within preset budgets.
Leading problem solving and lean manufacturing principles
Candidate requirements:
You will need to be a skilled leader, offering a proven background in production or manufacturing.
You must be able to demonstrate high standards, working within lean methodologies and provide leadership to the team.
The working hours for this role are 07.15am - 16.15pm Monday to Friday.
