A popular school located in Halstead is interested in securing a Art teacher to join their team. This Ofsted Good, mixed secondary school is seeking a teacher of Art on a part-time. The school is in Halstead which is walking distance to a range of transport links, shops and amenities.


ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND THE TEACHER ROLE:

  • A medium-size secondary school
  • To assist the Head of Department in ensuring that teaching in your subject is of high quality and contributes to the department’s improvement plan.
  • To participate in staff development activities provided within the department and whole school.
  • To deliver, as directed, syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, assessment and marking policies and teaching strategies so that student needs can be met.
  • To report student progress in your subject to the Head of Department and to parents/carers.


FOR THE RIGHT Art TEACHER WILL BE:

  • Confident with teaching Art to an A level standard
  • Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
  • Degree relating to Art teacher
  • Teaching qualification
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
  • A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
