An engineering firm in Halstead, are looking for a new welder to join their team. This role will include fabrication and machining, as well as basic fitting and assembly to produce their premium building products.
The starting salary will be circa 11.50ph and will be dependent on previous experience, and they happy to look at candidates that have studied welding at college or have some trainee experience! Hours are 07:30 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 7:30 - 13:30 on Friday!
Duties include:
* MIG and TIG welding
* Set up and operate fabrication machinery correctly
* Carry out other duties including fitting and assembly as required
* Work from drawings and sketches
* Welding different products to specifications
The ideal candidate will be a junior welder fabricator that is able to be adaptable, flexible fit in well with their current team. In return the company will offer a great working environment, with early Friday finishes and a purpose built workshop.
