The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity to work for a leading International Petrochemical Manufacturing company. Â you will be based in a specialist division that improve and develop both new and existing technology platforms to enhance the performance of their global production.Â
Contract Estimated Duration – 12 months
This role has been deemed inside of IR35
Your duties and responsibilities will be
- You will get the opportunity to work on upgrade projects and be part of a team that develops new technology.Â
- Upgrades to Existing Plant equipment i.e.; new cranes, monorail systems, lifting hoists and rotating machinery for handling hazardous materials.
- Upgrades to existing Rotating Tables and Press Tool Support Fabrications.Â
- Designing bespoke Frames for stacking & manoeuvring equipment and materials around the plant.Â
- Design and detail mechanical components for Electrolysers, and their associated processes.
- Design and detailing of a hydraulically operated pressure test rigs
- General Arrangements and Equipment layouts.
- Update Engineering Line Diagrams, pipe work and site layouts
- Refurbishment Tool Designs
You will be ambitious and keen to be involved in a team that is leading the way in developing technology for hazardous material production. Ideally you will have experience of using AutoDesk Inventor although candidate who have used Solidworks are encouraged to apply because training will be provided.Â
You will have the following qualifications & experience
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering preferred, but minimum of HNC in Mechanical Engineering required.
