Workshop Assistant

A P Tools Limited are currently looking for a Workshop Engineer Assistant in Hamble, Southampton. The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical background, will ideally have experience with basic tool maintenance and repair work and will be based within a commutable distance of Southampton.

Workshop Engineer Assistant Position Overview

• Repair and maintenance of Pneumatic and electric tools (training provided)
• PAT Testing (training provided)
• HAV Testing (training provided)
• Fault finding 
• Occasional manual lifting
• Computer data input
• Communicating with customers via telephone, email & face to face
• Will be required to work away on occasions

Workshop Engineer Assistant Position Requirements

• Previous hands-on mechanical experience (Preferred)
• Competent with basic mechanical principles
• An eagerness to learn and take on new skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Able to work unsupervised
• Sage knowledge preferred (training provided)
• Full clean Driving Licence essential
• Based within a commutable distance of Southampton

Workshop Engineer Assistant Position Remuneration

Salary - DOE

Monday – Thursday - 7.30am to 4.00pm

Friday – 7.30am to 1.00pm
