Machine Operator
We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our busy machine shop team in Cumbernauld, G67.
As a Machine Operator you will be tasked with:
- Manufacturing parts and components for steel fencing and gates
- Loading material onto machine
- Set up and programming of machines including power press / brake press machine
- Working to clear work instructions and technical diagrams
- Operate a variety of different machine processes
- Programming and set up of machinery
- Use of mechanical handling equipment
- Overseeing process to ensure quality standards maintained
- Working to production targets while maintaining a clear focus on safety and quality
- Unloading material
- Carrying our minor machine maintenance
- Adhering to Health and Safety regulations
- General duties as directed by Line Manager
What you can expect:
- A day shift pattern working Monday to Thursday 6am to 4.30pm - Friday, Saturday & Sunday off every week!
- A pay rate of £12.69 per hour

What we're looking for:
- A solid work history and a can-do, enthusiastic approach to work
- Machine operating experience within an Engineering or Machine Shop environment or transferable skills from another role
- A degree of physical fitness as some manual handling involved in job tasks
