This role sits within our Cleaning business division that provides cleaning and hygiene services to a wide range of prestigious clients.

About The Role:

As Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings in our public or private buildings. Your primary duty is to ensure that the environment is clean, safe, and sanitary for occupants and visitors.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning floors, walls, windows, and surfaces using the appropriate cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables, emptying waste containers and ensuring proper separation of materials for recycling.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels, and ensure that fixtures and plumbing are in working order.
  • You may be responsible for monitoring and reporting safety hazards, ensuring fire extinguishers and emergency exits are accessible, and securing the premises at the end of the day.
  • Track inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when restocking is needed.
  • Potential ad hoc tasks such as carpet cleaning, buffing and waxing hard floors, and operating floor-cleaning machinery depending on requirements onsite.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • A background in cleaning would be advantageous.
  • Experience working within a team.
  • You will be able to work to deadlines and prioritise as well as be flexible with working hours and days.
