Procast is seeking a driven and safety-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Health & Safety Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction site safety while working towards professional qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and method statements for construction projects
  • Monitor compliance with UK health and safety legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Provide training and guidance to site teams on safe work practices
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation for regulatory bodies
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety is a top priority

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification
  • Knowledge of UK construction health and safety regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think critically and problem-solve
  • Eager to learn and take on increasing responsibilities
  • Valid CSCS card and driving license
