Procast is seeking a driven and safety-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Health & Safety Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction site safety while working towards professional qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and method statements for construction projects
- Monitor compliance with UK health and safety legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act
- Provide training and guidance to site teams on safe work practices
- Investigate accidents and incidents, recommend corrective actions
- Maintain detailed records and documentation for regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety is a top priority
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification
- Knowledge of UK construction health and safety regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think critically and problem-solve
- Eager to learn and take on increasing responsibilities
- Valid CSCS card and driving license
