An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Reporting & Control Manager to join a fast-paced and evolving organisation. This role plays a key part in financial planning and reporting, ensuring senior stakeholders have access to accurate, timely, and insightful financial data to support strategic decision-making. Working closely with senior leadership and finance teams, you will take ownership of governance, control, and reporting processes while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. This is a hybrid position with 3 days on site and offers a competitive salary, bonus and car allowance

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and periodic reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal finance teams to deliver accurate management reporting and financial analysis.
  • Maintain and enhance financial controls, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Oversee governance frameworks, coordinating risk reporting and control improvement plans.
  • Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring robust financial documentation.
  • Continuously assess and refine accounting policies, financial systems, and reporting processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, governance, and accounting standards.
  • Experience with IFRS 15 and IFRS 16
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across different business areas.
  • Expertise in financial systems, controls, and process improvements.
  • Background in large, complex organisations with multiple stakeholders.
  • Fully qualified accountant (ICAS, ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA)
