Proposals Engineer

What You'll Do:

Collaborate & Innovate: Review and assess sales enquiries, including technical specifications and drawings.
Technical Mastery: Select and recommend the best equipment from our cutting-edge product range.
Craft Winning Proposals: Prepare technically and commercially sound quotations that exceed client expectations.
Engage with Clients: Communicate with customers to clarify requirements and ensure smooth processes.
Lead the Process: Manage contractual documentation from enquiry through to handover, keeping all relevant teams informed.
Data-Driven: Update and manage quotation status using Epicor.
Be the Bridge: Act as a key interface between internal teams and customers, supporting the sales team throughout the bid process.
Streamline Admin: Handle all commercial and sales documentation efficiently.
Stay Compliant: Ensure full compliance with company SHEQ policies and procedures.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering (or higher).
3+ years of experience in a technical sales environment.
Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor is a plus!).
Strong knowledge of rotating equipment (motors, pumps, mixers, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
