Labour Hire are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SUPPORT WORKER to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides hands-on, compassionate care to elderly, disabled, or vulnerable individuals, ensuring dignity, safety and independence.
  • Assist with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
  • Monitor health and well-being, including medication assistance (qualified to assist) and report any changes in condition
  • Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in activities to enhance their quality of life.
  • Maintain accurate records of care activities, and collaborate with healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to Care Inspectorate standards and follow all health, safety and safeguarding guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay aligned with current care standards and practices.
  • Key skills include compassion, patience, communication, and adaptability in diverse care providing situations.

About you:

  • You will be Compassionate, patient, have effective communication, and adaptability in various care settings.
  • Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, experience in care preferred.
  • Certified Mandatory and Statutory Training
  • Experience in care preferred

Job details:

  • 40-60 hours per week, across 6 days, between 06:30-22:00
  • Later shifts may be required, with notice
  • Pay rate: Negotiable
  • Permanent position for the right candidate
