Description

  • Maintaining and improving the performance of all plant machinery.
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on mechanical equipment.
  • Performing routine checks and upgrades to machinery and systems.
  • Ensuring all machinery is safe and fit for purpose.
  • Supporting other members of the engineering and manufacturing team.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Reporting any faults or issues to the relevant department promptly.

Profile

A successful Maintenance Fitter should have:

  • A recognised qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience in a maintenance role within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, ideally hydraulics and pneumatic
  • Coming with welding and fabrication experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A commitment to health and safety standards.

Job Offer

  • An estimated salary range of £39,366.72 + overtime.
  • Working Days/Backs on rotation, every 5th weekend working Saturday & Sunday 6am-6pm - paid as overtime
  • 28 days holiday pay inclusive of statutory days.
  • Over time paid at time and a half and double time.
  • Use of a company vehicle to carry out day to day duties.
