We are assisting a small, established firm in North Lanarkshire to secure them an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join their team. Ideally, you will have experience managing residential conveyancing files from start to end. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy firm and established team.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working core business hours Monday-Friday. The role will be fully office based, with a salary dependent on experience.

Are you who we are looking for?

  • You are an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor (Any Level)
  • You have strong experience within residential conveyancing, and are eager to develop this further
  • You are a confident communicator both written and orally
  • You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages and internal/external software
  • You can manage your own caseload independently
  • You are proactive, and able to manage your own time and diary effectively
  • You can work well individually and within a wider team environment
  • You enjoy building key relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders

What is the day to day like?

  • Conducting searches, verifying titles, preparing financial statements and drafting deeds
  • Consulting with clients daily, face to face and over the phone / email
  • Liaising with factors, address concerns and manage lender interactions
  • Processing and submitting registration applications
  • Assisting and supporting clients daily, providing legal advice
  • Communicating with clients effectively, keeping them up to date with their cases
  • Working with the wider team daily to manage caseloads and provide further assistance when required
  • Upselling other areas of the firm including Family law and Private Client, as well as taking part in other business development opportunities
  • Working to ensure all set targets and deadlines are met
  • Supporting the wider team daily
