Job Title: Conveyancing Paralegal

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join a well-established and reputable legal firm based in Hamilton. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing team committed to providing exceptional legal services to its clients.
Our client, a firm with a rich history dating back to the mid-1980s, has expanded significantly and now boasts a team of four directors and around thirty support staff, including qualified solicitors and specialist paralegals. They pride themselves on delivering a client-focused service, simplifying legal processes and building lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from inception to completion.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, transfers, and deeds.
- Conducting property searches and investigations.
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders.
- Handling all aspects of post-completion procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files.
- Providing administrative support to the conveyancing team.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal, ideally within a busy legal environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures and legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in legal case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A meticulous attention to detail.
