An Excellent opportunity for an Engineering Manager with Mechanical bias to join a well-established, industry leading company.

This company are a leading manufacturer within the Oil and Gas, Power, Nuclear, and Water industry, having been established for over 200 years. Due to continued growth they are looking for an Engineering Manager to join the team. In this key role you oversee the engineering department(s), managing development, design and production output. You will be expected to grow, train the team as well as developing continuous improvement, quality

This role would suit an individual with mechanical bias and a strong managerial background looking to join a well-established company.

The Role:

  • Overall responsibility for research and development, including all engineering and mechanical designs, material selection, maintaining development schedules, compliance to various design Codes and contract requirements, producing progress reports, and all other activities associated with R&D.

  • Degree/Advanced/Higher Apprenticeship in mechanical engineering discipline and/or equivalent job experience.
  • Knowledge of industrial rotating machinery (pumps, motors etc)
  • Strong SolidWorks skills, ability to read & interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specifications.
