HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 - Droitwich

We are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 drivers for temporary role at our busy chilled distribution site based in Droitwich. The role consists of refrigerated multi drop deliveries to various locations. Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shift available:

• Thursday to Monday start between 02:00 - 04:00
• Friday to Tuesday start between 02:00 - 04:00

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £15.08 (overtime after 47.5hrs £16.96)
• Saturday £16.96
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £22.62

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £17.23 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.38)
• Saturday £19.38
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.84

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

What we are looking for:

• In date DIGI and CPC card
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Motivated and open to learn new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
• No more than 3 points on your licence.
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 experience required.

Your role:

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
