Class 1 Driver - Droitwich

We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers on a temporary ongoing basis to meet the needs of the business at our busy Droitwich depot. The role consists of refrigerated multi drop deliveries to shops and stores, From 8 to 15 drops per day. The role involves cage deliveries of milk and some locations you are required to use a tail-lift to push and pull products being delivered.

Immediate starts after successful assessment and Induction.

TEMPORARY On-Going Role!

Start times between 02:00 - 0500am

Whether its 2 or 5 shifts a week, a Friday and Saturday must be worked.

Day pay rates:

Monday – Friday £15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.85)
Saturday £17.85
Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.80

Nights pay rates:

Monday – Friday £18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.39)
Saturday £20.39
Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.19

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

Day to day duties will include the following:

Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
Prepping vehicles for delivery.
Completing vehicles checks.
Refueling vehicles.
Multi drop deliveries.
The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

At least 6 Months of Class one driving experience required.
Excellent Communication skills.
UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences.
