• Assist with preparation of annual budget (agreed with CEO)
• Assist with preparation of annual report and accounts(to be presented by CEO)
• All accountsfunctions including sales & purchase ledgers, invoicing and credit control
• Company annual report and accountsforsubmission to Companies House and AGM
• Maintenance of Companies House records
• Expenses and payroll processes
• Responsible for individual pension plans
• Medical insurances • Balance sheet reconciliation
• Liaising with external auditors and maintain strong professional relationships
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Month-end accounting, including posting weekly trading to P&L and balance sheet.
• Accruals, prepayment journals and management accounting
• Reporting businessturnover to CEO
• Contributing to the maintenance of a strong control environment and ensuring a full audit trail is recorded and maintained at all times
• Escalating potential risks in a timely manner.
• Preparing yearly Statutory accounts and Tax calculation,respecting deadlines
•Fixed assets accounting,reconciliations and depreciation journals
• Making recommendations directly to the Chief Executive Officer
