Veritas Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a large SEN team at a secondary school in Hampton, starting ASAP.
The role involves supporting SEN students across KS3/KS4 in all classes, and while prior child-related experience is beneficial, candidates with a keen interest will also be considered.
Key skills required include experience working with SEN children aged 11-16, a professional and friendly approach, and the ability to manage challenging behavior.
The position offers ongoing training opportunities and is located near a mainline train station with good bus links, as well as on-site parking.
The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates are expected to have relevant experience in the field.

Veritas are currently working with a Secondary school in Hampton. The school are recruiting for a Teaching assistant to join their large SEN team. The Teaching assistant will supporting SEN students across KS3/KS4 in all classes. Having experience prior child related experience and being proactive in your approach to these students is beneficial - however the school is willing to consider candidates that have a keen interest in supporting these young individuals.The successful candidate will be joining a supportive and experienced team. There are also ongoing training opportunities throughout the year.The school is located near a mainline train station, with good bus route links. Parking available on site and on surrounding streets.
