Technical Services Advisor

Based in Hampton TW12 area.

Salary £38,400 + per annum plus bonus and generous benefits package

  • Full time permanent office-based role.
  • We are currently recruiting for a Technical Services Executive to join a well-established company in Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives working in a fast paced environment and has great communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities: -

  • To provide a high level of service delivery to clients in all areas of the Technical Services operation.
  • To provide support/guidance for all areas of the business who interact with the department.
  • To monitor and action all modules on the Link1 Service Network system to ensure focus is maintained on costs control and vehicle downtime.
  • To ensure all work is authorised in accordance with manufacturers servicing schedules and industry recognised times with attention to vehicle histories, contract types and duration, warranties and client specific procedures.
  • Liaison with vehicle manufacturers.
  • Account management
  • To carry out administrative tasks in accordance with operational procedures to include service bookings, downtime management reports and invoice processing.
  • To ensure breakdown procedures and recoveries are directed to appropriate network repairers in accordance with department procedures.

Person Specification: -

  • You will be a time served qualified HGV technician who has worked to Manufacturer or ATA standards.
  • A City & Guilds qualification or equivalent is essential.
  • In-depth experience of Customer Service &/or Fleet Management experience
  • Proven Relationship Management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external contacts
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good working knowledge of 1 Link Service Network system or /and R2C High level of automotive industry knowledge/awareness
  • Data / Information analytics skills
  • Must possess a full clean driving licence
