Are you a passionate and dedicated KS1 teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to join an outstanding school in Hounslow? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team as a KS1 Primary Teacher. This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week, starting in September. The salary ranges from 145 to 180 per day, based on experience. Additionally, there is a possibility of a trial day before the summer break.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and supports their academic and personal development.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and set targets to ensure each student reaches their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings to share best practices and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.
  • Establish effective communication with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behavior.
  • Implement appropriate behavior management strategies to create a safe and respectful classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a KS1 setting.
  • A passion for primary education and a commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for learning.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to work as part of a dedicated team.
