We seek experienced Teaching Assistants to support children with special educational needs. The is based in Richmond-Upon-Thames and caters for children within a provision for pupils from 4 to 11 years with moderate learning needs, many of whom have additional complex needs, including Autism.
Your role as a Teaching Assistant will be to support the pupils on a 1:1 basis with their learning development and care needs while at school. Experience working with children with special educational needs is essential. However, we will also provide training.
Job Responsibilities
- Experience supporting young adults or children in education
- Experience or willingness to assist with personal care
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively
- A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS.
- Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 1-6 months
