MLC Partners are recruiting for an interim People Partner to join a Charitable organisation within the health sector. This position is responsible for recruiting, training, employee relations cases, payroll and employee benefits.

This role is due to commence early December, for at least 4months (with the potential of extension/ permanent opportunity). It is a full-time role, with hybrid working onsite near Kingston upon Thames (and occasional visits to a site in Guildford), and from home (2days).

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing employee relation cases across the organisation, escalated by the People Advisor.
  • Supporting and challenging managers in the use of HR policies, providing advice and guidance.
  • Reporting to senior management on trends to identify key areas for people management, including performance, absence management, recruitment and retention and employee relations.
  • Managing and implementing new EDI and HR initiatives and supporting the wider organisation with any HR policies and process changes.
  • Oversight of the People Advisor on recruitment, and support management throughout the recruitment process.

Key criteria:

  • Chartered membership of CIPD/ Relevant HR qualification.
  • Previous experience in similar HR generalist/people partner role.
  • Proven capabilities in employee case management, with strong working knowledge of employment law.
  • Experience in working within a charity/healthcare.
  • Confidence in communicating with multiple stakeholders across the organisation.
