NEW MOTOR VEHICLE TECHNICAL SERVICE EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY BASED IN HAMPTON

Do you have strong customer service &/or Fleet Management experience and have time served as a Motor Vehicle Technician (Qualified to City & Guilds, Manufacturer or ATA standards)?

Do you have knowledge of the fleet management/vehicle maintenance industry and keen to utilise this ability in an office environment?

Our client is a leading services provider within the automotive industry who are currently looking for a candidate to fulfil the role of Technical Serices Executive to work in the operations area of the business and provide a high level of service delivery to their clients in all technical areas.

This unique position will require working closely with the Head of Operations Manager and/or Technical Services Team Leader and a summary of duties & responsibilities appear below:-

Cost control

Monitoring vehicle downtime

Authorising work on vehicles

Liaising with vehicle manufacturers re issues and warranties

Maintenance telephone calls

Administrative tasks in relation to service bookings, management reports and invoicing

Allocate breakdown & recoveries to appropriate network repairers

Applications for the Technical Services Advisor role are particularly invited from candidates who are already in a similar position or possibly looking to move from the shop floor to a technical advisory role. Ideally you will also have good MS Window skills as well as knowledge of repair times and knowledge of 1 Link and/or R2C would be an advantage. A full driving licence is also essential for this role as well as good communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and effectively meet deadlines.
