Mechanical service engineer required to join our growing business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a busy and varied role within Trent Pumps.
The engineer would preferably have previous experience working as a mechanical engineer / fitter within the quarrying or recycling industry however, not essential for the right candidate.
The Mechanical service engineer role to include:
Service, repair and assembly of Slurry Pumping equipment.
Maintaining pumping equipment to the quarrying, recycling and heavy engineering industry.
Faultfinding to pumping in sand processing equipment.
Breakdown repairs to customers equipment.
Pump re-builds in the workshop.
Assisting internally in resolving technical issues.
Keeping the workshop facilities safe and clean.
Proactive approach and the ability to learn new skills.
Training will be given to an individual who wants to learn new skills.
Full clean UK driving license would be advantageous.
A keen interest in practical hands-on activities.
Location: working both from our workshop and on customer sites througout the UK
Duration: Permanent.
Salary: Negotiable
Overtime: Yes.
